October is the breast cancer awareness month. This is my contribution to it, and the image will be donated to the Susan Komen foundation against Breast Cancer.

This image was born after I read this comment by a woman on a doll that was being sold in support of breast cancer foundations. There was such a bitterness to her comment! Saying how much she hated that the doll was beautiful and perfect and she was mutilated.
I absolutely disagree with a lot of the hateful things that she expressed and how she expressed herself, but her comments made me want to give something to breast cancer survivors. You still are beautiful! Having your breast removed does not mean that you cannot be absolutely gorgeous still! Do not give up feeling like a woman, being a woman!
So, here she is, my Venus Amazona, still beautiful and glorious, even without a breast.

I have been working a lot lately, so I have not had time for art. This is my work of the last month, on those few hours that I could steal for myself.
